LEVEL 1 & LEVEL 2 Teacher Training Programme
This course (Level 1 & 2 combined) totals 200 hours and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. Once you complete Level 2 you can register with the Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (“RYT”).Level 1 & Level 2 - can be taken over a 1 or a 2 year time period as each Level, will be repeated once each year.
Level 1 - Training for Teachers Programme is the first of two, separate 3 week long, intensives, each booked separately.
The Main Focus of Level 1 will be the Breath & the foundations of the Primary Series, covering in some detail, the foundations of the practice, (fundemental foundations and openings, and the standing asana, and seated asana up to and including Navasana.

David Keil - visiting Anatomy Teacher and Yoga Teacher from Miami, Florida. David offers an insightful and intelligent aperture on Yoga Anantomy, helping us to deepen our relationship to our own anatomy and therefore others, and offers an insightful and intelligent look at Anatomy in relation to Yoga, deepening our understanding of our structure and movement possibilities.
Swami Nityamuktinanda Saraswati - visiting Swami, Dr of Yoga Philosophy and author of many Yogic publications, graces us with her presence and offers a first glance into the philosophy of Yoga, The 5 elements, and insights into the Yoga Sutras.
Please try to read the following texts before attending the Level 1, you will be at a great advantage if you have grounded yourself with some of the ideas that will be presented by Swami Nityamuktinanda on this course.

LEVEL 2 - Training for Teachers Programme
This is the second of the 3 week intensives.The Main Focus of Level 2 will be to study the asana in more depth and the counted method from Navasana to the end of the Primary Series including backbending, drop backs and the finishing asana.
We will continue to look at the philosophical aspects of Yoga, Meditation, and some basic pranayama. We also focus more deeply on understanding the physical body we inhabit, looking at adjustments in more depth.
We continue the study of the Asana. Topics of Study covered during Level 1 and 2 combined - will comprise of the following:
- Asana practice and study
- Correct Vinyasa & Counted Method
- Breath work/pranayama
- Study of Tristana
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Yoga Philosophy & Sutras
- Meditation and Sitting practice
- Adjustments & working with Injury
